Cozy Up With Some Good Books

The Chapel Car Bride was a great historical romance. The pastor and his daughter traveled around to mining towns in a train car doing evangelism work. I thought this added a new perspective to the book as I have never read a book with this theme.

I loved watching the good prevail even though it took a while to get to that point.

Thanks to Bethany House for a copy of this book.

I love how the chapters in 8 Simple Tools for Raising Great Kids were small. I felt like as a mom with littles, I could truly read the chapters and then implement them immediately in my life. The concepts weren't huge, but they were hard. Ideas such as not yelling at your kids, but speaking to them firmly with love. I needed to be reminded of that one yesterday!

Thanks to Moody for a copy of this book.

Vibrant India would be great for anyone looking to try Indian food. The food all looked delicious. It made me wishing that I had an Indian friend nearby to cook me some Indian food.

I would have a hard time finding and buying ingredients for recipes in my small town.

Thanks to Blogging for Books for a copy of Vibrant India in exchange for an honest review.
