Hey, I'm Lydia! 

I recently got married to the amazing husband that I had waited for God to provide. As many of you know, being a wife adds responsibility to my life. I started this blog to share some of the ways that I am trying to prepare my household for the future. 

Proverbs 31 has always been a challenge to me. One of the verses that I really like is the following: 

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. Proverbs 31:21

Right now, it is just me and my husband, so I am taking this time to learn how to:

• make healthier foods
• make our household more sustainable
• create things to make our house look better

And to do all these things as frugally as possible.

One thing that I am currently loving is taking something that is no longer usable (or that I don't like) and repurposing that item into something new.
