Bathsheba: Reluctant Beauty has been a great book to read. I know that obviously most of the book is fictional, but still based on the time period. I love getting more of a feel of what Bathsheba went through in being a wife of David. I cannot imagine being in her shoes. The feeling of being used and then losing your child based on someone else's sin.
Great and informative read.

We were just finishing up The Jesus Storybook Bible, which I absolutely love, and were needing something else to do. I have several Bible story books, but none of them were making me want to reread them right now. So, when God's Good News Bible Storybook came in the mail, I was excited to get to reading the book with Esther.
I love the pictures that are in the book. The pictures are realistic, but not the same everyday picture that you see in every Bible story book. The stories do tend to be a little theological in nature, but we are still enjoying the book.

Treat: 50 Recipes for No-Bake Marshmallow Treats makes your mouth water. The pictures look so good. Another one of those books that make me wish that I had someone over to make all of the recipes for me. Any volunteers?

The Reckless Love of God was a good read. My favorite part of the book was where Alex was talking about just as a wife is not perfect, the church is not a perfect wife for Christ. Sometimes, I need to be reminded that I cannot expect perfection out of any church that I am part of because it isn't going to happen this side of heaven.
