Good Night Tales and The Character Builder's Bible {Book Review}

Good Night Tales: A Family Treasury of Read-Aloud Stories reminds me a little of Narnia on a much smaller scale. There are 12 stories in this book that are based on Biblical principles. They all point to the fact that God has redeemed us.

This book is geared towards a little older age group than my girls, so we will look forward to pulling this out in a few years to read through the stories again.

Thanks to Tyndale for a copy of this book.

The Character Builder's Bible: 60 Character-Building Stories from the Bible is going to be read right away as our girls at bedtime. There is a Bible story with a cute picture. The Bible story then focuses on a character trait. On the next page, the character trait is explained in a way that kids can explain. Then last page of each story has a cartoon of a child practically putting into practice the character traits. A fun book that will be getting lots of use at our house.

Thanks to Tyndale for a copy of this book.
