Happy Birthday, Grandma Kalb!

Oh, how I wish that I could celebrate Grandma Kalb's birthday with her. I know that she is celebrating with Jesus, which is far more precious. I would love if Scott and Esther could meet her.

There are some memories about Grandma Kalb that are precious to me. One of them being that every year at Christmas, she would sing Silent Night in German.

One year, Grandma Kalb fell shortly before Christmas and broke her shoulder, so we didn't celebrate Christmas that year. We did decide to celebrate Christmas on her birthday and that was a tradition that stuck. I wish our full extended family would get together again!
