18 weeks!
How far along? 18 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 10 pounds
Maternity clothes? not yet
Sleep: one morning I thought 4:45 would be a great time to be wide awake. Other than that, have slept great!
Best moment this week: Last night, I finally realized a baby is truly coming. I could picture my husband holding our little one. Super exciting and way scary! Scary is not my husband holding the baby, but that we are parents.
Miss Anything? Energy
Movement: Just a little. I have a hard time telling the difference between movement and gas. Gross, I know!
Food cravings: Salt. But that is every day of my life.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Thankfully, no. I do have this weird sense of smell though. My husbands cherry chapstick, red velvet creamer, and dry erase markers have really seemed very strong smelling to me.
Have you started to show yet: I think yes, but everyone else says no.
Belly Button in or out? Pretty sure my belly button has never been in, but still not popped out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Looking forward to: hearing the heartbeat again next week.

Yeah!!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel!
DeleteYou're definitely showing! And I love the way you break down your update.
ReplyDeleteAt 18 weeks, it is hard to tell if the baby is really moving or if it's just your body. :)
Thanks, I had actually seen someone else do it this way and I liked it.
DeleteI felt a definite thump the other night. Pretty cool thing! Thanks for stopping by Sandra!
A couple months ago I had weird conversations with my husband, because I was sure I was obviously showing and he seemed to be honest in his claims that he couldn't see a bump. At 29 weeks, there's no longer any question about whether I show!
ReplyDeleteWell, my husband at this point admits that I am showing, but no ones else seems to think I am. I have no doubt that I will feel huge by 29 weeks!
DeleteCongratulations on your pregnancy! I absolutely loved being pregnant (and the end result wasn't too bad either). I like how you have been taking your belly pictures outside so you can see how the weather changes throughout your pregnancy. Now lets get rid of that snow and bring on some spring weather!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a fair amount of snow this winter! I will take the snow over the gross brown stuff that tends to happen when everything is melting.
