Importance of Sunday School?

What would you think if you were reading along in a book and you read the following:

" Sunday school is actually more likely to be detrimental to the spiritual and moral health of our children."

Think about this viewpoint for a little bit. I am curious to know how accurate you think the statement is? What kind of feelings does it produce in you?
