I can't say that I really though about what Susannah, or other preacher's wives, during this time gave up to be a marry a preacher. They didn't always see their husband a lot and were left to raising their children by themselves.
Susie: The Life and Legacy of Susannah Spurgeon was a good read. It wasn't a book you couldn't put down, but it was good to think about life in another time period.

We enjoy listening to Charles Spurgeon's sermons...so convicting and full of truth. He was a great Bible teacher. I don't know much about his wife at all, but I'd love to learn more about her life. Thanks for sharing this review, Lydia! :)
