The Only Negotiating Guide You'll Ever Need has been a fun read. We have been going through a fairly big decision where there has needed to be some negotiation that needed to happen so this book has been fun. Although, the author says that negotiation happens every day with little decisions like who will put the kids to bed or what will we have for supper. Maybe I need to get better at negotiating after all!
I liked the points of asking open ended questions while trying to negotiate and also trying to understand the other person's point of view. Negotiating isn't always about the money. I think those things will help anyone become a better negotiator.
