Cozy Up With Some Good Books

Once again the book Princess Charity Sticker and Activity Book did not disappoint. The activities in this book are great for a little girl. This book is recommended for 4-8 year olds, and I am sure that little girls in this age group would love this book.

There are pictures in color and some pages that you can color. I like this book since Princess Charity is the youngest daughter. As the youngest of my family, I was able to relate more to Princess Charity.

The Blender Girl Smoothies: 100 Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Paleo-Friendly Recipes was a nice clean and fresh looking book to read through.

My smoothies always end up being thick, and this thickness doesn't always make them enjoyable! I like that that Tess gives some basics on putting together a smoothie. She gives the keys to make them good. For someone like me who doesn't usually follow a recipe, this was good.

She then went on to give a whole lot of yummy looking recipes. She also told why those recipes were good for you.

Thanks to Blogging for Books for a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

Blessing (Quaker Brides) took me a little bit to get into. I wasn't sure what to think of it at first. The book is not like anything that I have read before, which can be a good thing!

I loved how strong Blessing the main character is as an individual. It was encouraging for me to think that I need to stand up for what I believe in and not care what others think.

This book also takes place during part of the underground railroad and when women started fighting for their rights. I can't imagine not having the rights that we have today.

Thanks to Tyndale for a copy of Blessing (Quaker Brides) in exchange for my review.

When I got How to Love Your Neighbor Without Being Weird, I wasn't really expecting much from the book. I honestly thought that this would be a good book to quickly skim and review. I was wrong and thoroughly enjoyed the book.

I am not the best of reaching out of my comfort zone to those around me. I am better with reaching out to those who are similar to me. Those that aren't I struggle with more. One of my immediate neighbors, I talk to when I see. The other side, I tend to never talk to. Partly because I never see them.

I was convicted to reach out. I was also reminded when I do decide to reach out that Satan will be there to try to attack me and not make it easy to step outside my comfort zone.

Thanks to Bethany House for a copy of How to Love Your Neighbor Without Being Weird.
