I managed to cook most of the defrosted meat and re-freeze it which was a blessing.

It's so true... in our humanity, we cannot always prepare for circumstances out with our control. Things happen and we are faced with situations which test our faith. Sometimes, my memory lets me down (something I cannot control and which is so very frustrating - particularly at work)!

At such times, we need to learn to accept our human frailty and realise that God is still on the throne and working through every part of our day - including our human frailty during any given day. He reaches out to teach us to trust Him more fully in these weak areas of our lives.

This post is a beautiful reminder of such.

Thank you for sharing.Wendy @ E-1-Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13898058440919632867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226754357423513078.post-62419723043293093982012-07-24T19:56:32.102-04:002012-07-24T19:56:32.102-04:00My youth pastor had a cookout with his food that w...My youth pastor had a cookout with his food that was going to go bad over the next few days with the power outage.
So many ways that we can bless others when we have our eyes open! Yes, we can loose those things that we hold so tightly - - very quickly. Your story reminds me of a time our freezer stopped and we did not know it. A lot was lost at that time.
Another time, we knew we were to be gone over an extended period of time, so we called up some of the young couples in our church that could use meat and other frozen items and gave them away. We did not know if the food would still be good after a year, so we did the next best thing. They were very happy for the gifts.a joyful noisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08712092116466408490noreply@blogger.com
